BioWell, I'm 17 years old. I'm a complete music nut. My primary instrument is saxophone. Mainly alto, but over the summer I played in a pit orchestra for some musicals on soprano, and I'm working on tenor and bari. I'm also in a quartet I started, which we don't have a name or anything, since it's not going to be permanent... but that's okay. I am also learning bassoon. Had I not already been in love with saxophone when I started, I think I would have gone with bassoon. It's just such an interesting instrument, and it sounds really good if played well. I can also play a little bit of the flute, clarinet, piano, euphonium, and violin. My plan is to go to Georgia Southern to get my BM in music ed and sax performance and study with Dr. Carolyn Bryan in both sax and bassoon, then go up to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to get my MM in both and study under Debra Richtmeyer for sax.
